To Place your blog on a search engines you need to put keywords in to the search engine. Keywords are used so that people can find your web pages.
By logging on to a search engine such a Google, a person will type in a key word and the search engine will then identify all the keywords that relate to what you type and bring up web page URLs for you to look at.
It is important that you find words that closely resemble your blog, for instance of you are writing a blog about animals, and then include the words that relate to animals such as dog, cat, bird, and other related words so the search can be concentrated on your blog.
To get your blog in the top order of the search engine, that means that people will see your web pages first you need to have a lot of people looking at your website. The rankings increase when the volume of traffic to your site increases.
Ensure that your blog has interesting content, and add a subscription service to you blog to encourage visitors to join, this way you will build up a list and encourage visitors to return to you site and also increase your Google rankings.
2. Eclectic blogging
Eclectic blogging is more personal; here you will put your own ideas and person feelings, such as a journal. This is the easiest way to start blogging; in this instance you will be using your own personal experiences of life in your blog.
This type of blogging is open to a variety of subjects. Things that have happened to you in a personal capacity or in a working environment, your spiritual experiences, the world is wide open with the number of subject that can be an eclectic blog.
You can also add graphics and photos on your blog. If you want friends to be in touch with you, you can add a mailing list on your blog.
3. Automated blogging
Automated blogging is exactly as the title says; this is a blog that has been automated with automated software. Such as RSS feeds. Automated blogs usually show the beginning of the feeds posts and readers get an overview of the articles. One good thing about them is that they are usually simple to set up.
They are also relatively cheap with about $15 you can easily set up your automated blog: you will need a domain, and an automated blog script and hosting. All of these are freely available on the internet; you can use a search engine such as Google to find out more about them.
In conclusion blogging can be a rewarding and lucrative experience.
